From its creation to its downfall, the narrator 

in this fictional tale details how the—once—Great Nation collapsed. What began as a Nation full of pride, built by tenacious ancestors in their pursuit toward prosperity and freedom, gave way to its entitled descendants.

Lost, with no purpose, the subsequent generations—either unknowingly or gleefully—toppled the very system that enabled the comforts and conveniences even the anti-capitalist activists indulged in.

This short, 27 page poem is a work of fiction, but may serve as a cautionary tale against the modern American mindset.
